iAtlantic workshop on bathymetric data
Online, 29 & 30 August 2023, 13:00 – 19:00 CEST
This training event is designed as a hands-on workshop addressing individual problems of different aspects from data generation and processing to data analyses and products.
The workshop provides a short introduction on bathymetric data collection and processing and some examples of the use of bathymetric data for scientific applications followed by a question and answer sessions for specific problems people have with their bathymetric data. These problems should be outlined and emailed to us in advance not later than 11 August.
What the course offers:
- A general introduction to bathymetric data
- Help to specific problems you may have with your bathymetric datasets
- Suggestions for and help with analysing your bathymetric data
What the course does NOT offer:
- Hydrographic training
- Training in acquisition software packages, hydrographic software packages, or GIS
How to register
The course is limited to 10 participants to allow for enough time to resolve individual problems. Participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis.
