Our Team

iAtlantic is a large community: as well as our formal project partners, we are fortunate to work with an extensive network of associate partners, expert advisors and external collaborators who are all contributing towards achieving iAtlantic’s goals.

Consortium

The iAtlantic consortium comprises 38 partner organisations from Europe, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina, Canada and the USA, complemented by a wider network of associated partners.

iAtlantic Fellows

Through its partner institutions, iAtlantic has recruited a significant cohort of early career researchers (PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, Masters students) who collectively form the community of iAtlantic Fellows.

Steering Committee

Responsible for the planning, monitoring and delivery of the project’s work plan. iAtlantic's Steering Committee comprises the project coordination team, work package leaders and their deputies, the regional coordinators and the expedition coordinator.

Advisory Board

Providing independent, high-level expert advice on progress and direction, and identifying opportunities for iAtlantic to support innovation and responsible development in the Blue Economy and Blue Growth sectors.

Science Council

Independent scientific experts providing technical advice on specific research issues.
